 EL MARQUES DE TORRE TAGLE,

Torre Tagle was the president of La Nueva Garanada during the war against Spanish colonialism. He pretended  to be for independence (for a republic, with elections,) but he really gave his support to the enemy, who were the representatives of the monarchy of King Fernando VII of Spain. All movements have to deal with traitors to the cause.

THEN THERE IS HOLLYWOOD. With its endless cowboy movies, its horror movies its female vampires sucking you off. Movies all over the world are concerned about the degradation of the technical quality of their production, and have done everything possible to keep them fresh. Nevertheless, after the horrifying events of 3012, AD, where movies and electronic equipment burst into flames all over the world. All that was recovered was some film of seven minutes from a Hollywood movie. The piece was enshrined in a museum and revered almost as a holy relic.

I was a shitty movie. It was about a European-origin man who went West and killed off the Indians to form a town for his people. There was always a good Indian whom he trusted, and who had to kiss ass in order to survive.Events are glamorized and redressed in new clothes to suit the prevailing mood of the day.

THE POOR. And the homeless,  those who had a mortage scam and had to move out, the disabled, all are tied into a neat bundle by the prevailing powers to make them hate someone or something or a group or an institution. That way they can organize them for hatred, so that they are unaware that their situation has been caused by  their own mentors, and they form an army of revenge ready to do battle for the fatherland. That is fascism.

The liberal left says, Oh, my goodness those people should be rescued - let's increase their income so that they are better off, but still under  the same system of exploitation.

Others say, "No , there must not be any poor, any homeless in the first place. Exploitation cannot be permitted. Everyone has to be treated as equal. Those are the socialists.

A revolutionary movement can learn from all of them. Traitors, worship of non-existing value, organizing for hatred, sops to ease a situation but not changing it, are all tactics designed to prevent a system of inequality to transform into one of equality, as it must. The road is rocky and full of thorns, but it is one that must be traversed.

All of the reactionaries that hated the revolutionary movement are still there, pretending "they knew nothing about it" and they now support the revolution, but their actual role is in undermining it, making reforms so that the original impetus is blunted, and this gives them a space in spider web to -they hope- bring about a counter revolution. This is why revolutions become violent- to stop the counter forces. It is a trap for both sides. Change cannot be stopped.
