HEALTH CARE
Some people live by the motto "Never let a disaster go to waste", meaning they can make money when something bad, like cancer, happens. If people get sick that is a great day for them, they can wring that person's bank account dry and by repeating it with other patients a thousand fold, become millionaires in the process. Eventually the reserves of individual members of society are sucked dry, and the society itself crumbles with empty pockets unable to meet the needs of the population- no food, no rent, no utilities. That is what passes for health care in a capitalist society.
In an alternate universe, when a person gets sick, there is plenty of money in the government reserves to pay back what that person has earned through a lifetime of work.Being sick does not make others rich, Being sick is stabilized by a benign and intelligent system that is interested in a healthy society- healthy in body and in mind- so that it can continue to function without interruption, without a tiny minority hoarding all the wealth while the vast majority see their assets disappear. In this system, the majority rule, the majority coalesce in communities that decide what and where the wealth of the nation is to be used. Those with a "winner take all" mentality are put in jail. Health care ceases to be a problem, a worry that destroys lives, but blossoms into another asset that strengthens the will and makes life a blessing in a healthy society.
