ANN KIDNAPPED

THE FIRST WEEK IN FEBRUARY 2020

My sister, Ann Hopping, has been living at 105 8th St, Clovis, for over twenty years Over time she has become more frail. She is 88 years old. She had a neighbor, Sandra Lee Boltz Ross,1174 Burlingame Ave Clovis, CA 93612-0438  glom onto her and help her with her shopping, trips to the doctor, etc. At some point Ross asked her to sign over Power of Attorney and access to her bank account. Ann now suffers from Alzheimer's and is very vulnerable.

In February I visited her, as did my son Alex and daughter in law Luz. We were trying to help Ann steady her life, and were looking into a bonded caretaker to help her. Ross is not bonded. Coincidentally, Ann fell and went to the clinic to get patched up. My son tried to see her and was told he was not allowed on the premises. My sister never went back home.

I called my sister every day, as I had done for many years. Now there was no answer for several days. Years ago she had given me the keys to her house in case of need, so I went to see if she was alright, or whatever I could find. The keys would not work. Ross had changed the locks. Then I went to Clovis [police station to file a missing persons report and spoke with officer Samantha Rodriguez, who began taping me without my knowledge or consent. She knew all about Ross and my sister, from Ross's standpoint, and said she had been on the phone with them while I waited. She said that my sister, Ann, ALLEGEDLY stated that she did not want to see me. This is impossible, unless she had been brainwashed into saying something like that, since y sister and I have always been close. I was informed that if my sister said she didn't want to see me, there was nothing they could do. The idea that I am prevented from seeing my sister , even if it is just to see how she is getting along, that she can be kidnapped and held incommunicado without having to inform me as to her whereabouts (let's assume she doesn't want to see me--how does that obviate my seeing her- even from another room?) even though we have spent and entire lifetime as siblings, is suspicious of being highly illegal. The lawyer sid that she felt my last meeting with my sister"did not go well". For whom, MaoTse Tung? This is an argument from a lawyer, trained to be objective and not indulge in hearsay. If being prevented from seeing my sister even with such spurious arguments,  is not illegal, it should be. I don't wish my sister any harm, I only want to know if she is OK, and no one has the right to keep me from seeing her. I asked for a copy of the report of my visit to the police, but almost everything has been blacked out.

When I met Ross years ago she immediately launched into a tirade calling Ann "a bitch" and "stupid and filthy". Concretely she said she was afraid to take anything from her hands, fearing she would catch something. (This was before the Corona Virus) When Ross met another relative from LA she launched into the same tirade, insulting Ann and making it seem like Ross was a martyr having to put up with  so much. When Alex and Luz talked to her they were met with the same diatribe. It is evident Ross wants to isolate everyone and have Ann under her exclusive control. There is evidence that Ross continues the diatribe by bad mouthing me, her nephew and daughter in law  while talking to Ann, in order to turn her against her own relatives. When Ann fell and my daughter-in-law asked how she was, Ross laughed as if it were funny, making a joke of it. Ann could have been badly fractured, and as it was was covered with red, purple and black bruises over more than half of her face.

Ross has been married six times. Information on prenups needs to be discovered, as it is impossible to believe that someone married for love six times. Marrying for money for the sake of a divorce settlement in entirely believable, however. In addition, she took care of an old man across the street from Ann's house, who later died. Information needs to be found if Ross was the beneficiary of the will. Now Ross has the power of attorney and access to Ann's finances, and controls what is in Ann's will, in addition to being in cahoots with lawyers and law enforcement personnel. Power of attorney, as is well known, means that Ross can sell Ann's house, force her to leave against her wishes, sell the property, take and sell all personal items. She has worked methodically and efficiently to get what she wants, and this implies that she is no neophyte in the business. Taking Ann away for her "safety" (what danger is she in?) is a violation of her civil rights. She has been removed from her house, which gave hers security, and has been separated from her family members. This is reminiscent of abusive men who use violence against their spouses, denying them access to friends and threatening and punishing them if they dare go against their diktat, forcing them to pretend to the outside world that everything is OK. Ross is apparently chummy with the bank (of America), her attorney (Teresa B. Petty-Jones, 375 Woodworth Av, Clovis), the doctor (Robert Grousse) and the Clovis police (Samantha Rodriguez). The fact that everything has gone smoothly for Ross, and she has apparent support from formal agencies, implies that she has had these connections before, and knew exactly what she was doing.

Ross told the police, the clinic and Ann that her nephew was "dangerous" and " a thief", which reportedly convinced Ann in her weakened state that she didn't want to see him. No one in the family has heard this from Ann herself. What Ross doesn't know is that Alex had kidney failure and was on dialysis for five years, and now has an implanted kidney for which he has to take medicines constantly.. He is in danger of getting sick at any time. Aside from the fact that he has a sweet nature, he is hardly a dangerous stalker as a result of his illness.

Ross will not let any family member see Ann. Ross is in control of whom Ann associates with, where she is to live, what medications to take. Ann has lost her civil rights in the process. Ross makes her banking decisions, can sell her artifacts, take her property away and leave her penniless, and it's all legal. Ann can't get a copy of her bank records. If she has been put in a home, how much is that costing her, when she has a home of her own?

Caretakers typically say they are "helping" and doing what is in the patient's "best interest" and for her "safety". The patient is removed from the home, over-medicated and easily manipulated. The caretaker can put a paper in front of her and she will sign with no idea of what she is  signing. Instead of acting in the patient's best interest, they are being exploited because they have a little money or a house. The patient sinks into depression and isolation.

I need to know where my sister is, and need to see her personally. I believe that Ann should have the option of living in her own home, if she so wishes, with her cats and books, and a bonded trustworthy person can tend to her needs. . She has committed no crime, and should not be in a situation similar to an arrest. I believe that Ross has committed a felony, Taking over someone's living and property under false pretenses is a crime. I strongly urge you to look into this case to determine what is being hidden, so that those who have committed transgressions may be punished and the  innocent get the attention they need, want and deserve.

Also, Ann made a will several years ago, in which she included all family members. Efforts must be made to make sure that will has not been updated to exclude them.

Sincerely,
Forrest Hopping

Addendum: Abusive persons engage in the follow behavior to control their victims;

1- ISOLATION. Ross has forbidden anyone who knows Ann to see her.
2.-DEGRADATION Ross has consistently called Ann a bitch and verbally insulted her over and over to others  even within the first five minutes of meeting them for the first time. Ann has told me that Ross has insulted her to her face.
3.-EXTREME TENSION Ross has forced my sister out of her house, where she felt secure with her cats and books, and put her in a home that is to date unknown to us. Ann has friends in California and England, and there is no mechanism by which she can connect with them. Her life has been radically turned upside down without her knowledge or consent.
5 INTIMIDATION The fact that the police seem to be on this criminal's side is intimidating enough. Ross is pals with the     police, the lawyers, and every agency one can think of. This is not an amateur.

A friend went by my sister's house and took pictures of piles of boxes outside. Ross apparently began  to empty the house of my sister's possessions.

Ann's house at 105 8th St Clovis has been put up for sale at $349,000. GUARANTEE REAL ESTATE 559 322 6020
